- Mexico City, Mexico sits on top of landfill that sits on top of a lakebed. If you look at the satellite maps you will see that the city sits in a bowl surrounded by mountains. This webcam is of good quality, updates regularly and is reliably available during the day. It's too bad that the plaza looks like a parking lot but that's how it is. The primary negative to this webcam is that it does not operate during the night time. This too bad mostly because it means that early morning and early evening shots are lost. :-)
