- Abraham Lincoln saluting at Gettysburg! The only animation of Abraham Lincoln at Gettysburg and possibly the first ever animation! There are only 3 known photographs of Lincoln at Gettysburg. Two of those photographs were only recently discovered by historian John Richter in 2007. (see New Lincoln Photos ). This animation is created from those two most-recently-discovered photos.
